This leather suit is crafted from 1.3mm ‘Race’ spec soft bovine leather, incorporating dual layers in critical areas for optimised flexibility and abrasion resistance. Equipped with Alpinestars Level 2 Nucleon PLASMA Pro armour, this suit offers eco-friendly, sustainable, and lightweight impact absorption. The innovative design delivers class-leading levels of adaptability, breathability, and ventilation.
The GP-R7 leather suit incorporates Alpinestars ‘Race’ spec Supertech R10 aero hump, designed to work seamlessly with the Alpinestars Supertech R10 helmet for optimal streamlining and aerodynamic performance. It’s optimised for use with Alpinestars Tech-Air® Airbag Systems, including Tech-Air® 5, Tech-Air® 10, and the new Tech-Air® 7x. The ultra-vented design features extensive perforations across the torso and thighs, with perforated leather panels and localised perforations on the arms for maximum airflow.
Protection is paramount, with Nucleon PLASMA Pro armour on the elbows, shoulders, knees, and shins. The Nucleon PLASMA Pro Knee Protector features an extended design, developed using state-of-the-art body mapping technology. Dual-density integrated GP DFS shoulder and knee armour, along with a DFS RR Elbow slider with replaceable insert, provide superior friction control. The suit also features a Kevlar® grip zone, seamless cuff and collar construction, an internal suspender system, and replaceable GP Knee Sliders.
