New TPU lateral ankle brace protection provides biomechanical support and protection between the lateral calf/shin and ankle, offering the rider more stability and protection. A new back calf TPU bridge helps to further reinforce the level of protection and support. TPU double-density ankle protectors are layered under the upper on the medial side to offer protective performance in key areas. A new TPU shifter is designed to provide increased protection on the lower medial side. A race-derived TPU shin plate protector is designed for superior impact and abrasion resistance, while offering a compact design for easy fit under pants. Dual-density TPU toe sliders enhance protection. The striking Red graphic elements stand out.
The main upper material is constructed from microfiber to provide durability, high levels of abrasion resistance, and flexibility. An ergonomic last for forefoot streamlining enables greater control and improved precision on the bike's controls. A new, ergonomic elastic gaiter in front provides a precise fit in any condition. A new front flex and back flex design combines textile and over-injected, soft TPU areas, offering improved impact abrasion and optimal, natural front and back movement of the foot. A medial side entry opening/closure system features an elastic-mounted zipper with a wide hook and loop closure. A streamlined contact surface with the bike enhances control and rider comfort. A new pull flap with a dedicated design increases pensility and facilitates hook and loop closure. A new, dual compound removable anatomic footbed includes EVA and Lycra. An internal insole with integrated shank reinforcement provides support to the arch area and foot protection. Internal toe box protection is layered under the upper for durability, improved feel, and overall performance.
